My analysis on the Roger Clemens trial

This blog's analysis on the Roger Clemens trial has come to a simple conclusion:  The trial does not make ANY SENSE AT ALL.  Sure, we would all like to see Clemens recieve a punishment for lying to Congress....but is it worth it?  As far as the Washington Post and New York Times know...this trial is costing millions of dollars.  Can our already battered economy take the wasting of even more money?  On such a child-like case?  A baseball player lying to Congress?  Gee, baseball is JUST A GAME.

Most baseball fans would rather return to baseball..and wish that this whole thing never happened.  What really sickens my stomach, is that some politicians are benefiting from this, and making money off this whole matter!  Persecuting and being involved in a case that is centered around a celebrity gives you a whole lot of fame.  They don't care if it wastes money, they just want to benefit from it.
We just wish that this whole matter never happened.  The multiple steroid trials have wasted millions of precious dollars, and benefited the wrong people.  It is wrong to lie, but this trial is getting out of hand. A more small trial, in a small courthouse would be just fine, but this going to Congress?  Unspeakable.
